The kick-off meeting of the project “Migrants’ Integration through Volunteering Activities MIVA” was held in Piraeus, Greece, on 12th and 13th February 2019.

The meeting of the project coordinators has been hosted by the coordinator organisation, the Municipality of Piraeus. The discussions of these days were giving opportunity to the partners to deepen their understanding on the common objectives, clarifying the most important means and channels to reach the target group of activities, and also to agree on the methodological, conceptual framework they wish to operate in. The partners have also identified the internal and external monitoring and reporting procedures that will be taken in order to guarantee the successful achievement of the objectives.

The activities of the projects will start within two months, after the necessary preparatory and organizational steps will be taken. Till the next transnational meeting, the project partners will be in touch through online communicational channels to efficiently coordinate and harmonise their activities.
